This page explains what rentcreditri.com and rentcreditri.org collect when you visit, and what we do with it. RentCredit RI has not launched yet, so this website collects very little.
When you enter your email in the "Notify me" box, we add it to our RentCredit launch-updates email list, with a note that you signed up on this site. The list is kept with Brevo, the email service we use. We use your email only to send you news about RentCredit, like pilot and launch updates.
We use two analytics tools, Google Analytics and PostHog, to see how people use this site. They record things like which pages you visit, which links and buttons you click, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and the website that sent you here. Both receive your IP address and use it to estimate your city and country. Each one keeps a random ID in a cookie or in your browser's storage so it can tell one visit from the next.
Neither tool records what you type into the email box. We do not use PostHog to make screen recordings of your visit. PostHog stores its data on servers in the United States.
This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each visit to deliver the page, which means it sees your IP address.
If we change this page, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
